Our Story

Founded in early 2025, the Community Shed of Mid-Michigan (CSMM) was created to bring people together — especially retirees — to work on hands-on projects, foster connection, and give back to the local community. Inspired by a global movement, the Shed provides a safe, barrier-free space where everyone is welcome to share knowledge, learn something new, or simply enjoy good company.
